YOU DON'T NEED TO KNOW WHERE TO START

You bring your
experience.
We find the way in.

Sometimes understanding what you’re experiencing isn't the same as feeling able to move through it.

Music can offer another way to explore emotions, memories, patterns, and questions that may be difficult to access through conversation alone.

Sessions are collaborative and tailored to your needs. You don’t need musical experience, and you won’t be asked to perform.

We’ll work together to determine which approach makes sense for you.

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

A space that's
yours to explore.

Two complementary approaches that use music and the therapeutic relationship to support emotional exploration, reflection, and change.

01 / MUSIC THERAPY

Music as a way
into conversation.

Music therapy uses intentional music experiences within a therapeutic relationship to support emotional health, coping, and self-understanding.

Depending on your needs, sessions might include guided listening, songwriting, lyric exploration, creative expression, or conversation.

We can use what emerges through music to better understand your experiences and develop strategies that carry into everyday life.

Often explored:
Stress, anxiety, emotional regulation, grief, life transitions, communication, and coping.

02 / GUIDED IMAGERY & MUSIC

Listening beyond
the familiar.

The Bonny Method of Guided Imagery & Music is an experiential form of music psychotherapy.

With a trained guide, you listen to carefully selected music while exploring the imagery, emotions, memories, and sensations that emerge.

The experience is followed by reflection and integration, making connections between what unfolds during the music and your life.

Often explored:
Identity, grief, emotional patterns, personal growth, meaning-making, and deeper self-exploration.

OTHER WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER

Individual work
isn't the only way.

Music-centered experiences can also create opportunities for connection, reflection, professional development, and restoration.

03 / GROUP SESSIONS

Room to
connect.

Group sessions bring together music, facilitated reflection, and opportunities for shared experience.

Groups may include music listening, creative expression, discussion, and structured activities that support emotional processing, self-regulation, and interpersonal connection.

Programming can be adapted to the needs of the participants and setting.

04 / RETREATS

Time to
step back.

Retreats offer a more spacious opportunity to engage with music, imagery, reflection, and meaningful connection.

Half-day and full-day experiences can be designed around themes such as restoration, self-exploration, resilience, and connection.

Experiences can be customized for groups, organizations, and helping professionals.

05 / PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

Support for
your practice.

Clinical supervision provides music therapists and students with a collaborative space to reflect on their work and strengthen their professional practice.

Areas of focus may include clinical reasoning, case conceptualization, therapeutic relationships, intervention planning, ethical considerations, and professional development.

Consultation is also available for other helping professionals interested in the clinical application of music.

Sliding-scale options may be available for music therapists and students.

SPECIALIZED AREAS OF EXPLORATION

Sometimes the work
goes deeper.

Music-based experiential approaches can provide additional ways to explore complex emotional experiences and questions of meaning.

TRAUMA & INTEGRATION

Making room for
difficult experiences.

Music-based therapy can support exploration of trauma-related experiences, emotional patterns, and the ways past experiences continue to affect the present.

Work is approached thoughtfully, with attention to emotional safety, pacing, and integration.

ALTERED STATES & INTEGRATION

Understanding
what emerges.

Significant experiences can leave us with questions, emotions, or insights that are difficult to put into words.

Music-centered integration work provides space to reflect on previous altered-state experiences, including psychedelic experiences, and consider how they connect with everyday life.

Psychedelic substances are not provided or administered as part of these services.
