YOU CAN START WHERE YOU ARE
You don’t need all
the right words.
Maybe you understand what’s going on, but still feel caught in it. Maybe something has changed, and you’re finding your way forward.
This work offers adults a place to explore experiences that can be difficult to put into words.
- Stress or overwhelm that’s hard to settle
- Grief, loss, or a significant life transition
- A wish to feel more connected to yourself
- Questions about meaning, identity, or what comes next
WHAT WE DO TOGETHER
Music is the beginning
of a conversation.
You don’t need to sing, play an instrument, or know anything about music. We’ll find an approach that fits you.
Music therapy
Use listening, reflection, and creative expression to explore what you’re carrying and develop ways to support yourself in daily life.

With Dean’s guidance, listen to selected music and notice the images, feelings, and sensations that emerge. Then make space to reflect on their meaning.

A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT WONDER
Before you
reach out.
Do I need any musical experience?
No. The work is about your experience, not musical performance. Listening can be the starting point.
What happens in a session?
Depending on the approach, sessions may include talking, listening to music, imagery, and reflection. We’ll discuss what fits your needs before beginning.
Where can we work together?
Sound Space Collective serves Charlotte and the Lake Norman area, including Davidson, Huntersville, and Mooresville. Virtual options are also available. Ask Dean about the setting that fits your needs.
What do sessions cost?
The introductory consultation is free. Therapy fees vary by service and session length. Ask about current rates and available sliding-scale options when you reach out.
Is this psychedelic-assisted therapy?
No substances are provided or used. Dean offers music-centered work and support for integrating past experiences. Learn about integration support.
What if I’m not sure this is right for me?
That’s a good reason to have a conversation. Share your questions in the contact form so we can explore whether the approach matches what you’re seeking.
